Sa - ToIn this lesson we learned some more hiragana. The S row and the T row.

Sa Shi Su Se So た ち つ て と Ta Chi Tsu Te To Remember that Romaji generally aims to write the way that the characters are pronounced.
Thus, "Shi, Chi and Tsu" don’t follow the normal “one consonant, one vowel” pattern. "Shi" is pronounced like the English word "She"; "Chi" is pronounced like the beginning of the word "Cheese"; and "Tsu" is pronounced like the word "Two", if there was an "S" in between the T and the W. |
